Instructions for 2nd Lien vs. Mortgage Insurance spreadsheet.
- Enable Macros - Depending on your Security Settings within
Excel, a Security Warning will pop up warning you about viruses. You need
to Enable Macros to use this comparison spreadsheet.
- <Tab> - Use the <Tab> key to move among the
data input fields.
- Fill In All Blanks - Sales Price, Comparison Type (1, 2, 3, or
4), 1st Mortgage Interest Rate, and 2nd Mortgage Interest Rate fields are
all required. You can override the loan amounts, the Interest Rate for a
stand alone 1st Lien, and the terms.
- <Ctrl>+<Shift>+<P> - Use
<Ctrl>+<Shift>+<P> to produce the comparison. You
can view the comparison on the screen, or Print the comparison
using the print button.
- <Ctrl>+<Shift>+<S> - Use
<Ctrl>+<Shift>+<S> to go back to the Data Entry
screen for the comparison and change any data for a new comparison. This
is useful for comparing different programs.
